A message from our Camp Director

Hi, I’m Michael Naumenko! With over 20 years of camp experience, I’ve had the privilege of serving in nearly every role from camper to counselor to director at programs ranging from the Ukrainian American Youth Association in Upstate New York to the Centenary Early Learning Center, Piscataway's Camp Lenape, and now as Camp Director at Camp Munsee. Camp has always been my passion, and I truly believe in “doing what you love.” I’m excited to create new memories this summer and to pass along my love of camp to the next generation of campers and counselors, helping them build friendships, confidence, and unforgettable experiences.

Michael's Favorite Camp Memory: My favorite memory as a camper was making lifelong friends! As a Camp Director, I'm so thankful to pass that down to my campers as they find new friends.

Traditional Camp at Munsee

In Traditional Camp, campers are grouped by age and grade to make friends and discover new interests. Each day is filled with engaging activities like arts and crafts, music, nature exploration, swimming, sports and so much more while building confidence, teamwork skills and creativity.

With weekly themes and special events, every week brings a new adventure!
